It is their own opinions that the Japanese did a lot of violent war crimes. I can remember from history class about the atrocity and violence established by these so-called 'ninjas' or 'samurais' of 'Bataan Death March,' killed thousands, tortured millions. Oh the pain... On the other note, all their technological and artistic advances.... are PROPAGANDA by. It is your opinion, to love or hate the Japanese. I personally dislike Japanese, because of history and participation at WWII. Only I was happy by Little Boy's visit to Nagasaki. That is the only time. A wise Filipino saying is: "The Spanish brought them Religion. American brought them Education. The Japanese brought them War." Your choice, your opinion.

most of the japs here are dumb as dogs. Lot of artifacts were orginated from corea. Japs were jealous of coreans. Stealing and claiming it is theirs. After japs accepted foriegn goods from US and EU and coreans turned to a hermit after seeing what happened in china, they were able to take over. Before then, they were considered to be dogs, even chinese would agree.

As a Korean who has lived abroad for quite a while, I feel like I should explain what's really going on over there. I'll try my best to explain both sides of the battle First of all, why do so many Koreans hate the japanese so much? We can look into history for that. korea and japan have always been fierce rivals. Japan saw korea as a bridge the main asian continent. However, the most important event was during the 1st and 2nd world wars. Between 1910 and the atomic bombing of hiroshima and nagasaki, the korean peninsula was part of the japanese empire, which spanned throughout asia. during this time, the japanese colonial government murdered between 3 to 10 million people, which includeds korean, chinese, indochinese, filipinos, among others (keep in mind that the holocaust victims, according to wikipedia, estimated between 11 to 17 million people including all minorities). In korea specifically, the japanese war criminals committed massacres, rapes (comfort women), bio-weapon testings (look up "unit 731), slavery, destroyed our economy, culture, and other horrible crimes that i cannot remember off the top of my head. To learn more about japanese occupation of korea, wiki "korea under japanese rule". Now, many of you were probably not aware of these crimes. Why? well first of all, we dont have such talented jewish actors or directors to make movies (just kidding). But there are other reasons: A. just before the japanese government left, they destroyed most of the records of their atrocities. We know these crimes happened because of testimonies, many of them from japanese people, physical evidence, and some records that they have failed to destroy. B. Japanese history text books still omit these crimes. to learn more about this, wiki "japanese history textbook controversies" because of this, many younger japanese population arent aware of these tragedies, and like someone important said once and paraphrased here, "if we don't learn from history, we're doomed to repeat it" But this doesnt quite answer the question of why koreans STILL hate the japanese people. It's been over 60 years! right? Well, compared to the german government, the japanese havent been as graceful as they should have been. A. the japanese government have expressed many apologies since the occupation ended. however, the word "sorry" never came up until the 90's. They would alway feel "regrettable" or "responsible". Now this may seem trivial, the wording of any government statement is very important and it was a big issue b. every year, many japanese politicians visit and pray at the yasukuni shrine, which enshrines men and women who has died for the emperor ,including the war criminals of WWII. This is seen by other asian nations as glorifying the acts occurred in wwii. (to learn more, wiki "yasukuni shrine" c. every once in a while (more often than you'd think), some japanese prominent japanese politician will say "o we shouldnt apologize to korea... They've benefited from our occupation! we've "civilized" them." d. there's a heated land disputed of a tiny island smack in the middle of the sea of japan called Liancourt Rocks (Dokdo in korean, Takeshima in japanese)The pictures above refer to this dispute.(wiki "liancourt rocks"). On the topic of Sea of japan, the Korean people believe that the sea of japan should be named the East sea. (wiki "sea of japan naming dispute") All that said, I have to agree that korean education has become quite nationalistic, which is always dangerous. The japanese are often antagonized (rightfully during the occupation) long before they committed such atrocities. A good example of this is the japanese invasion of korea between 1592 and 1598. Wars and invasions happen all the time and I think the japanese are unfairly antagonized in teaching of this war in korea. I believe that people shouldnt suffer for the crimes committed by their ancestors. That said, they should be well educated about it, and in that regard, japan hasn't been so successful. I hope japan and korea will coexist in harmony very soon. I visited japan during spring break and enjoyed myself too much, and I honestly think that there's much we can learn from them. So to everyone out there, don't antagonize japanese people for what they've done in WWII, and don't antagonize the korean people for hating japanese people so much. Instead, promote education and communication between the two!

There is a person to whom the renewal of the passport was refused, too. During the Japanese occupation, the Japanese government cooperated with many Koreans. But, unfortunately, Crazy law was passed in 2005 for South Korea. Its people and their descendantsfs assets are deprived by the South Korean government. The international society should desert such a crackbrained country. North Korea and China is far more better. I also want everybody to understand this. I can speak English only a little. I am sorry in English not read easily.

Over 2 million dogs are brutally killed in South Korea every year. That's over 5,000 dogs a day who get strangled, burned, electrocuted or beaten to death for their meat. The South Korean government has accepted Animal Protection Laws which make animal torture illegal, but those laws have never been properly enforced in the country. The dog meat industry continues to thrive and the officials are reluctant and indifferent to ban it. Oh, sorry, except during the 1988 Seoul Olympics and 2002 FIFA Cup when dog meat restaurants were forced to shut down temporarily in fear of bad impressions of South Korea. Apparently Koreans have some psychological issues. They cannot seem to survive unless they attack somebody all the time. Actually they attack not just Japanese, but whoever refuse to say Koreans are the best. Look at sport events like olympic games. Foreigners in Japan are treated like crap, and especially Koreans and Chinese. My Korean friend was kicked out of an izakaya and yelled at for speaking Korean on her cellphone. I was allowed to stay because I'm Canadian and I'm supposed to bring in the big $$. What kind of shitty attitude is that, huh?

If Japanese people could treat their Korean residents nicely, I will have no problem. I'm a Canadian who loves Asians but sometimes, it's so hard to love Japanese. I blame the American government who favored Japan too much that Japan is still not respecting other countries. Japan is the dignified one and it should act with dignity, not cowardly. Just to let you know, not many South Koreans think of their ultranationalism seriously. Been to both Japan and South Korea.

Doesnt matter what Japanese really did. Korean also doesnt have clue nether. Does the world know they claim everything came from Korea. They even claim British people came from Korea. Football came from Korea. Famous Chinese writing character came from Korea. Claims Azteca and Inca culture came from Korea. Claims especially many of Chinese and Japanese origin cultures for no clear evidence. They dont really care and know about the truth.
